What is an Estate Plan?

An estate plan is lots of different things. It ensures that your final wishes are met and that your property/assets are passed down to your loved ones. With an estate plan you can:

  • Create a will or trust
  • Decide on power of attorney
  • Include instructions for your care if you become disabled
  • Name a guardian for minor children if you pass away
  • Decide how your assets are transferred and who they go to when you die
